Peugeot 407 Fuel Flap Issue

Sounds familiar! I had a similar drama with my 407. Is the error pointing towards the electric actuator? Have you tried the emergency cable release in the boot, if you've got one?

The error seems to be pointing towards something electrical. I thought it might be the key fob, but that seems fine. Emergency cable? Where exactly would I find this cable release?

It's usually behind the trim in the boot, near the fuel filler. Honestly, though, if it's electrical and affecting other functions, you might be chasing ghosts. I ended up biting the bullet and taking mine to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quick.

Cheers for the advice! Sounds like a trip to the mechanic is on the cards. They reckon it's a defective linkage and the whole repair will be about 210€. Hopefully that'll be the end of it!
