Peugeot 407 rough idle and misfires

I have a 2008 Peugeot 407 with a gasoline engine, and lately, it's been a nightmare to start. Fuel consumption is way up, and the engine feels like it's lost power. It also idles really rough and has even stalled. I checked the usual suspects, but nothing obvious. Could this be related to a dodgy injector nozzle? Has anyone dealt with anything like this before?

Sounds familiar. I've got a 407 as well, though, I don't know if it's the same year, and those symptoms sound similar to what I was experiencing. Are you getting any misfires or rough running, especially when the engine is cold?

Misfires...yes! Now that you mention it. Rough running in the first few minutes especially. How did you solve this problem?

If it is what I suspect, it ended up being a clogged injector valve which probably resulted in defective injection nozzle. I'd get it checked out by a mechanic. It could save you a headache in the long run.

Right, that's what I was dreading. Okay, I'll book it in at the workshop, thanks for confirming my suspicions! It ended up costing me 515€.
