Peugeot 407 starting issue

My 2009 Peugeot 407, diesel engine, with 228k km won't start! Error memory shows 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted'. I've checked the battery terminals and fuse box, but can't see anything obvious. Any ideas where to start looking next? I got quoted 95€ for diagnosis and repair of electrical connection.

I had a similar issue with my 407. Have you checked the relay switch? That was the culprit in my case. It might be worth taking a look before you spend a fortune at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick response! Where exactly is the relay switch located? Is it easy to get to?

Yes, the relay switch was indeed the cause of a similar issue with my Peugeot 407 too. However, its location can vary slightly, so I suggest consulting your car's manual or visiting a workshop. They can pinpoint it quickly and assess whether it's the source of your problem without you fiddling with sensitive parts.

Thanks so much for the advice! I took it to a local garage, and it turned out to be a corroded connection on the relay switch, just like you suggested. They cleaned it up, and it's starting perfectly now. Really appreciate the help!
