Peugeot 407 Temperature and Warm Up Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot 407 diesel is experiencing issues with incorrect temperature readings, a persistent check engine light, and slow warm-up times. The problem might be due to a restricted cooling grille. A suggested solution is to check the fuse related to the grille shutters, as a similar issue was resolved by addressing this component. If the fuse is not the problem, a workshop diagnosis may be necessary.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the fuse located? And how can I tell if the cooling grille is actually the problem?

The fuse location should be in your owner's manual, but I'd bet it's the same issue. I had to take mine to a workshop to diagnose the fault. Cost me 52€.

Thanks a lot! I'll check the fuse and then book it in at the workshop.

I had similar symptoms on my 407. Does it feel like the engine is running cooler than usual? It could be a fuse, if your model has one for the grille shutters. Check that first before anything else.
