Peugeot 407 Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues

Hey, I've got a 2006 Peugeot 407 (gasoline engine) throwing up some weird errors. Mileage is at 37942 km. The tire pressure low warning keeps popping up, but also the ABS lamp lights up and the steering wheel vibrates, plus it takes more effort to steer. Anyone else seen this combo?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my 407. The tire pressure warning was the first sign. Did you check if one of your tires is losing pressure?

Yeah, I've checked the tire pressures. They seem okay, maybe a slight loss in one, but nothing major. Could a slow leak cause all those other issues too?

That's exactly what happened to me. Turned out to be a faulty valve in the tire, causing a slow leak. The system gets confused, triggers the ABS light, and affects the power steering due to the pressure difference. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for the insight. I took it to a local shop, and you were spot on. Defective valve in the tire was the culprit. New valve, system reset, and I'm back on the road. Total cost was 280€. Appreciate the help!
