Peugeot 407 Transport Mode Active

I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane after the battery died. 'Transport mode' often locks down features. Did you try starting the engine? If it starts, it’s probably just a setting that needs to be cleared.

Yeah, the engine starts fine. Where would I find that setting? I've looked through the menus but can't find anything specific about transport mode.

Okay, if the engine starts, the immobilizer is probably fine. I couldn't clear it myself on the Megane. A workshop with the right diagnostic tools is the best bet. They can reset the car's configuration.

Thanks for the info. I took it to a local mechanic, and they plugged it in and reset the 'transport mode' setting. Everything is working as it should. Cost me nothing!
