Peugeot 408 Airbag Fault

I had a similar issue with my 408. Diagnosing airbag faults can be a real pain; the system is super sensitive! Was the fault intermittent at first, or did it appear suddenly? I'm curious if you've experienced any other electrical gremlins lately.

Good question! It was gradual, actually. Started as an intermittent flicker of the SRS light, now it's solid. No other electrical issues that I've noticed. Did yours behave the same way?

That sounds incredibly familiar! Mine started flickering too, then went solid. Given your diagnosis and the progression, I'd strongly recommend taking it to a workshop with experience in restraint systems. It could be a simple fix, but airbags are not something you want to gamble on!

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate the confirmation that I'm not barking up the wrong tree. I took it to a shop and, as suspected, it was a faulty connector. Replaced and cleared the code – all for 95€!
