Peugeot 408 GPS Antenna Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Peugeot 408 is experiencing GPS issues, specifically showing 'No GPS reception,' with a diagnostic scan indicating a problem with the GPS antenna. The issue may be due to a loose connection behind the head unit or a defective antenna. Checking the antenna connection is suggested, but if uncomfortable with handling the trim, consulting a professional mechanic is advised. A new GPS antenna might be necessary, with a replacement cost estimated at around 200€.

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked the connection behind the head unit yet. Is it a massive job to get to it, or fairly straightforward? Any tips on getting to it without breaking any trim?

It's not too bad, but be careful with the trim. There are guides online for removing the head unit, search for that. But honestly, if you're not comfortable, a workshop will sort it quickly. Sounds like you need a new GPS antenna anyway.

Cheers for the advice! I think I'll take it to a local mechanic, especially if a new antenna is likely. Got a quote for around 200€, so not the end of the world. Thanks again!

I had a similar problem with my Peugeot 408. Have you checked the antenna connection behind the head unit? Sometimes it just comes loose.
