Peugeot 408 Hybrid Engine Stalling

Experiencing issues with my 2022 Peugeot 408 Hybrid. The check engine light comes on and off, and the engine sometimes stalls when idling. I've also noticed less engine power. The car has 187368 km. Could a bad fuel volume regulator be the problem, maybe because of the high pressure pump? Has anyone else had this?

I had similar symptoms with my 2018 Volvo XC60. Check engine light, rough idling... Could it be a fuel injection issue? Have you checked the fuel pressure?

Yes, the high pressure pump was defective and had to be replaced. I'd recommend consulting a trusted workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. The workshop confirmed a defective fuel volume regulator, very likely caused by the high pressure pump. The repair will cost 1510€.
