That's interesting, I didn't know the sensors had batteries. The car is a 2023 model, so the sensors are original. Could the battery really be dead already? Is there anything else it could be before I start replacing things?

While it's unusual for the sensor battery to fail that quickly, it is possible. External factors can affect the battery life, or it could simply be a defective sensor from the factory. A diagnostic check at a reputable workshop would be beneficial to confirm the exact cause before replacing any components. It will help you exclude other potential problems with the TPMS system.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop and, as you suspected, it was a dead sensor battery. Replaced the sensor and all is well, cost me 280€.

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Volvo V60. The system kept flagging low tire pressure even when the tires were properly inflated. It turned out to be a faulty tire pressure sensor. These sensors have internal batteries that eventually die. How old are your sensors?
