Peugeot 5008 Audio System Failure

Has anyone had issues with the audio system in their 2017 Peugeot 5008 diesel? Mine's done about 289000 km and the audio is completely dead. Diagnostic says there's an error stored, and I'm wondering if the display is faulty.

Hey, I have a 5008 too and I had something similar happen a while back. No sound at all? Did you check the fuses? Mine would cut out randomly, then eventually just died completely. Was thinking it was the head unit, but never got around to properly diagnosing it.

Thanks! Yes, absolutely no sound. Fuses look okay. When yours cut out, did you see any errors on the display, or was it just no audio?

No error messages on the display initially, just silence. Then it wouldn't come back on at all. Honestly, I just took mine to a workshop in the end to sort it out, easier than messing around myself. Might be worth considering before you start replacing things.

Thanks for the advice. I suspected a workshop visit might be needed. The diagnostic pointed to the display being defective, which lines up with some research I've done. I'm going ahead with a repair. Estimate is around 725€.
