Peugeot 5008 Automatic Gearbox Problems

My 2010 Peugeot 5008 diesel with 69258 km is having automatic gearbox issues. Shifting is implausible, the transmission indicator is on, and sometimes it doesn't shift properly, going into emergency mode. Could undervoltage cause this?

I had similar issues with my 5008. Is it only happening intermittently? Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level?

Yeah, it's intermittent. Where exactly do I check the hydraulic fluid level on the auto transmission? I'm not too familiar with that.

Honestly, I'm not sure where it is on your model. I took mine straight to the workshop when it started going into emergency mode. Better safe than sorry with automatic gearboxes.

I took it to a shop, and it turned out the automatic transmission oil was worn out due to undervoltage. A transmission flush fixed it, cost me 240€.
