Thanks! The error message appears intermittently, but the brake lights remain faulty regardless. How did you resolve the issue? Was it complicated, or straightforward?

In my case, it turned out to be a faulty brake light switch. Given your symptoms, it's highly probable you have the same issue. I'd recommend a visit to a workshop for a diagnostic check to confirm. It's a safety issue, so best to get it sorted properly.

Following your advice, I took my 5008 to the workshop. The brake light switch was indeed faulty, and the technician said that it looked like I had accidentally kicked it, which is not covered under warranty, but luckily it was an easy fix and they didn't charge me anything for it! Everything is working perfectly now. Thank you so much for your help!

I had a similar issue with my 5008. Same symptoms – error message and brake lights not working. Was the error message persistent, or did it come and go?
