Yes, the whistling gets louder the harder I press the accelerator! It's driving me crazy. Was your issue definitely the charge air temperature sensor, and if so, what exactly was the problem? A faulty sensor or a wiring issue?

I had a similar experience with my 5008 - same symptoms, including that infuriating hissing sound! Does the whistling sound change depending on how hard you're accelerating?
