Yes, the check engine light came on when the engine power decreased and the error code showed up. What happened with your 5008 and how did you fix it?

Yep, the dashboard light was the giveaway for me. It ended up being related to some modifications the previous owner had done. Honestly, I'd say take it to a workshop to get it checked out properly. It's better to be safe than sorry with these things.

Took it to a workshop as suggested. They confirmed it was the chip tuning. Recalibrated the engine control unit, cost 180€. Engine power is back, and the error code is gone. Thanks for the help.
