My 2012 Peugeot 5008 diesel is giving me grief. Mileage is at 213311 km. Getting reduced engine power, a warning light, and it's starting poorly. The lights are also flickering, and the error memory shows a generator fault. I'm leaning towards a defective generator. Anyone else experienced similar?

Sounds like a dodgy alternator. Have you checked the voltage across the battery terminals when the engine's running? Should be around 14V. A significant drop could confirm your suspicion.

Thanks for the advice! Confirmed it was the generator. Replaced it and everything is running smoothly again. Repair cost was 960€.
