Peugeot 5008 Overheating Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Peugeot 5008 diesel is experiencing overheating and slow warm-up issues. The suspected cause is a faulty thermostat, particularly the map thermostat, which is known to fail. A similar case confirmed the thermostat as the problem, and the recommended solution is to have it checked and possibly replaced at a workshop.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Thanks for the quick reply! Coolant level seems fine, no obvious leaks. No weird smells either. Just the overheating and slow warm-up. Did yours have the same symptoms? What was the eventual fix?

Yep, same symptoms exactly. Turned out to be the thermostat. Best bet is to get it checked out at a workshop, they'll be able to confirm.

Appreciate the confirmation. I suspected as much. Will get it booked in. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my 5008. Was your coolant level dropping at all? Or any weird smells?
