Peugeot 5008 Parking Aid Failure

Hey, I'm having parking issues with my 2021 Peugeot 5008 gasoline. The parking aid system is out of whack! I get a 'Parking assistant without function' error, and the error memory confirms it. I'm thinking it might be a dodgy cable or plug connection. Has anyone else run into this? Any ideas before I start ripping things apart?

I had a similar issue with my 5008. Is it completely dead, or is it intermittent? Did you check the control module, blind spot sensors, ultrasonic sensors, or parking sensors? Might be worth a quick check of those before digging deeper.

Okay, completely dead is different. Mine was just acting up sometimes. If it's totally dead, it could be a fuse, or something more serious. Considering it's completely non-functional, I'd honestly suggest taking it to a workshop. Could save you a lot of time and potential headaches.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was hoping it was something simple, but I think I'll book it in. Thanks for the advice, though. It was just a defective cable. Cost me 95€ to fix it!
