Thanks for the quick response! I checked for obstructions and it looked clean. The error code was P1695. I am able to see a live data reading. Should I go to a shop? I'm uncertain how to continue troubleshooting.

P1695 typically indicates a problem within the radar sensor circuit itself: wiring, the sensor, or even the control unit. Given that you're seeing live data, the sensor might be detecting something, but it's not interpreting it correctly or the signal is weak. Given the car's age, it could also be corrosion somewhere in the wiring harness. The diagnostic tool isn't going to pinpoint that, and without specialized equipment, tracing electrical faults is difficult. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop with experience in automotive sensors.

Thanks so much for the detailed explanation! I took it to a local shop as suggested. The sensor was just really dirty, even though it looked okay to me. They cleaned it, cleared the codes, and everything's working perfectly again. Cost me 45€, a lot less than a new sensor!

Radar sensor issues on these Peugeots can be tricky. First, is the sensor physically obstructed? Check for mud, snow, or anything blocking it. Where is the error memory pointing? Which error code exactly? Can you see live data from the sensor?
