Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't specifically checked the emissions, but I suppose that could be related. How did you end up fixing the problem? Did you try any DIY solutions, or did you just take it to a mechanic?

I'm no mechanic, and honestly, dealing with fuel injection stuff seemed a bit too complex for me. I took it straight to a trusted workshop. They confirmed it was a defective injection nozzle, probably due to clogging. They replaced it, and everything's been running smoothly since. Cost me about 515€ for the diagnosis and repair. Worth every penny to avoid the headache!

Okay, that's good to know. Sounds like I should probably skip the DIY attempts and get it checked out professionally. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! I'll book an appointment with my local garage and hope for a similar outcome.

Hey! Sounds frustrating. I had almost the exact same symptoms with my 5008! Rough start, bad idle, feeling like a loss of power... all of it. A dirty injection valve can definitely cause that, leading to misfires. Basically, the engine isn't getting the right air/fuel mixture in one or more cylinders. Have you noticed any difference in your emissions? That could be a symptom, too.
