Yeah, the battery is probably getting on a bit. I haven't load tested it or anything like that. What happened with yours exactly? Was it just a battery issue?

It was the battery in my case. Start-stop systems are the first to complain when the battery is weak. If you're getting engine shut-offs, I'd definitely get it checked professionally. Could save you from being stranded.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a shop, and you were spot on - battery was goosed. New one fitted for 290€ and all is well. Cheers!

I had a similar issue with my 5008. Is the battery old or heavily discharged? The start-stop is very sensitive to voltage. Have you checked the battery's health?
