Thanks! I haven't checked the cable and plug connections at the motor, I'll do that next. Yes, it's a combined stalk for wipers, turn signals, and cruise control. Should I focus on the stalk?

Given that it's a combined stalk, it's worth looking at. But check the motor connections first, since that's easier. If the connections are fine, it's probably the stalk. I'd suggest a workshop; without the right tools, it's hard to find the problem and you might cause more damage. Better to get a professional to look.

Took your advice and went to a workshop. It was a defective cable/plug at the wiper motor, like you said. Repair cost 95€, and the wipers work now. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar problem with my Opel Astra. The wipers quit, and it triggered an error. It was a bad cable or plug connection to the wiper motor. Have you checked those connections? Does your Peugeot have a combined stalk for wipers and turn signals? That could be it. Hopefully, the error code will be more specific.
