Peugeot 508 AC Problem

My 2013 Peugeot 508 hybrid with only 52389 km is not blowing cold air. AC system doesn't even seem to switch on. I've checked the fuses and climate control settings. I suspect dodgy valves. Anyone else experience this?

I had a similar AC issue with my 508. Is the compressor kicking in at all? Worth checking the pressure switch and the blower motor too. Could be a simple fix, or something more sinister.

How did you determine the root cause? Was it a straightforward diagnosis? Any specific valves that were the culprits? Trying to avoid unnecessary costs. The service center is already estimating it to be around 1000€.

In my case, it was a faulty valve deep inside. It was tricky to diagnose, and I ended up taking it to a workshop. I suggest you do the same.

I feared that might be the case. Workshop it is. Cost me 1000€ as expected. They told me the individual valves were defective in the air conditioning system. At least now I have ice-cold air again.
