Peugeot 508 Air Suspension Problems

Hey, thanks! I used a generic OBD2 reader, and it gave me a code related to the air suspension compressor. I didn't see anything specific about cables or connections, though. Where should I be looking for these connections? Is it easy to get to the compressor itself?

If the error code points directly to the compressor, and you've already noticed leaning, it quite possibly is the compressor. Given the symptoms, I'd advise against further self-diagnosis without proper equipment. Continuing to drive it could damage other suspension components. Get it to a workshop. I had a defective cable or plug connection replaced, and the repair cost was 95€. Suspension, ride height, compressor failure, suspension pump, air struts all might be related, so it is hard to tell without expert knowledge.

Thanks! Sounds like I'm better off taking it to a pro. I will share the solution. My issue was also a defective cable or plug connection, and the repair cost me 95€.

Greetings. I had a similar issue with my 508 involving the suspension and ride height. Does the error memory store a specific code related to the suspension pump or any of the air struts? What did you use to read the error codes? Perhaps it is showing a defective cable or plug connection?
