Peugeot 508 central locking failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2023 Peugeot 508 hybrid has failed, with neither the key fob nor the interior button functioning. The fuses are intact, and a general error related to the central locking module was found. A potential cause could be a defective cable or plug connection in the door wiring harness. It is recommended to have a professional workshop handle the issue to avoid further complications.

Thanks! They didn't specify which door, just a general error related to the central locking module. Where exactly is the door wiring harness located? Can I access it myself without dismantling the door panel?

It's inside the door, running from the car body into the door itself. Honestly, it sounds like a job for a workshop with the correct tools and diagnostic equipment. I ended up taking mine in, saved me a lot of hassle.

Appreciate the advice! You're right, fiddling with the wiring myself might make things worse. I'll book it in with an auto-electrician. They quoted 95€ for diagnostics and repair, which seems reasonable. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my 508. Check the door wiring harness, especially the plugs. I've heard a defective cable or plug connection is a common cause. Was that the error that came up? Did they specify which door?
