Peugeot 508 Crankshaft Sensor Fault

My 2013 Peugeot 508 Hybrid (26764 km) has the check engine light on, reduced power, poor response, and increased fuel consumption. Diagnostics point to a crankshaft to camshaft reference value fault. I suspect a bad crankshaft sensor. Anyone else seen this?

My issues were exactly the same. It was a faulty sensor messing up the timing. Get it checked at a good workshop for a diagnosis and repair. Seems to be a common issue.

I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed a defective crankshaft sensor. Replacement cost 340€. Engine performance is back to normal now.
