Peugeot 508 diesel rough running

I'm having trouble with my 2014 Peugeot 508 diesel. The check engine light is on, and the engine is running rough, almost like a misfire. It sometimes stalls at idle, and there's jerking when accelerating. The car has 157500 km on it. I suspect the fuel pressure sensor or a faulty cable or plug connection. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I had a similar problem with my 508, though mine is older. Check engine light, rough running. I thought it was a fuel delivery issue, maybe the fuel pump. Was it constantly happening, or just under certain conditions?

It seems to be more prevalent when the engine is warm, especially after idling. Does that sound like what you experienced? Did you pinpoint the cause?

That sounds almost identical! For me, it was the fuel pressure sensor. The workshop confirmed it after diagnostics. Given your mileage and the symptoms, I'd recommend getting it checked professionally.

I had it diagnosed and it was indeed the fuel pressure sensor, along with a corroded connector. Total cost was 95€ including parts and labor. The Peugeot runs great now. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!
