Peugeot 508 Electric Seat Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Peugeot 508 owner experienced an issue with the passenger electric seat, where an error was stored in the memory, and seat adjustment was not possible. The problem was suspected to be related to a heavily discharged or defective battery. However, after consulting with another owner who suggested checking the seat harness and switch, the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty seat module at a workshop.

I haven't checked those specifically, but all other electrics seem to be working fine. Where exactly should I be looking for the seat harness and switch? Any specific wires that are prone to issues?

It's probably best to just go to a workshop and have them take a look at the seat wiring. I ended up doing that when I had the problem. I think it was something to do with a short in the seat wiring and they sorted it out for me in an hour.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop and it turned out to be a faulty seat module. They replaced it for 290€. All good now!

Hey, I also have a 508. I had a similar issue a while back. Have you checked the seat harness and the seat switch? It might be a simple wiring issue. Do all the other electrics in the car work fine?
