Peugeot 508 Exhaust Flap Issue

Hey, I've got a 2014 Peugeot 508 hybrid and I'm having trouble with what I believe is the exhaust system. I've noticed a louder than usual exhaust noise, and the engine sounds rougher when it's cold. There's also an error stored that I can't quite decipher. I suspect it might be the exhaust flaps? Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a similar issue with my 508. The exhaust noise was a dead giveaway. It could very well be the exhaust flap being defective. It's pretty common, and leads to the symptoms you're describing.

Interesting. Was it a straightforward fix, or did it involve more than just replacing the flaps?

For me, it was definitely the flap. I'd say check yours out as soon as possible. However, best get it checked out in a workshop, they should be able to diagnose and fix it quickly. Mine cost 190€ including parts and labor if that helps.
