Peugeot 508 Fault Memory Lock
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Peugeot 508 is experiencing a persistent fault memory lock issue, suspected to be caused by undervoltage. The car operates normally, but the error code remains. A similar issue was resolved by taking the vehicle to a workshop with diagnostic capabilities, which successfully addressed the problem.

The car operates normally, no drivability issues. Just the persistent error code and active fault memory lock. What triggered the fault in your case?

My 508 was doing the same thing, running fine but being a PITA with the code. I chased a few things but never really nailed the root cause. Eventually, I got fed up and took it to my workshop and they sorted it. I'd suggest a good workshop with diagnostic capabilities.

I took your advice and brought the car in. The repair cost settled at 240€, for anyone else experiencing similar issues with the ECU fault and memory lock.

I've got a 508 too, and vaguely remember something like that happening. Was it creating any drivability issues, or was it just an annoying code that kept popping up?
