Thanks for the quick response! When you say 'control rod on the leveling sensor,' where exactly is that located? And how did you diagnose that was the problem? Any advice before I start poking around?

It's usually connected to the suspension near the wheel. I didn't diagnose the problem myself. I took it to a workshop, they found that the control rod connecting the leveling sensor arm was defective because it came loose.

Okay, makes sense. I'll check the control rods. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! It turns out you were spot on! The control rod was indeed defective. Got it replaced for 110€ and the problem's gone. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my 508 a while back. Have you checked the control rod on the leveling sensor? Those sensors can be easily broken. It dictates the car's ride height in reference to the road.
