Peugeot 508 Hybrid Transmission Issues

My 2021 Peugeot 508 Hybrid's transmission is malfunctioning at 143954 km. Paddle shifters are unresponsive, the gearbox slips and shifts poorly, there are grinding noises during gear changes, and the gearbox enters emergency mode with an error stored. Preliminary diagnostics suggest a defective transmission control unit. Has anyone else had similar issues?

I own a Peugeot 508 Hybrid as well and these symptoms sound familiar. I didn't experience all of them, but the gearbox slipping and slow paddle shifter response were definitely present. Before it got worse, I also saw some error messages related to the transmission control. It might be a defective control unit, like it was in my case.

I don't have access to the specific error codes anymore, unfortunately. But no, my car didn't make grinding noises. Given all your symptoms, especially the grinding, I'd strongly recommend getting a full diagnosis and potential repair from a qualified workshop. It does sound like a defective control unit, though.
