Peugeot 508 Oil Level Sensor Error

I'm having an oil level error on my 2011 Peugeot 508 diesel. The instrument cluster shows an error, it's stored in the error memory, and the oil warning light comes on sometimes. The car has 112729 km. I think it's the oil level sensor or wiring. Anyone seen this before?

I had something similar with my Opel Astra. Same warning light, error message, the works! It was a corroded connector on the oil level sensor, causing erratic readings. Did you check the cable or plug connection?

Thanks! Where was the connector located on your Astra, and how did you check it?

On the Astra, it was on the bottom of the oil pan, under the engine. You'll need ramps to get to it. Cleaning the contacts helped for a bit, but I eventually had to get it properly fixed at a workshop. I think you should visit a workshop to get it properly repaired.

Thanks for the explanation. I'll check the connector. If it's still happening, I'll take it to a workshop. I'm hoping a 95€ repair will fix it.
