Peugeot 508 Starting Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Peugeot 508 diesel is experiencing starting issues, resembling a flat battery. The garage identified a "Terminal 30 continuous plus interruption," suggesting a heavily discharged or defective battery. A similar case was resolved by replacing a faulty battery and checking the charging system, which restored normal starting function.

Fuse box? Where's that located, and which fuse should I be checking specifically? And was it the car battery in your case?

Fuse box is under the bonnet, from memory. Check the manual to be sure which fuse controls the starter motor or the charging system. For me, I think it was a combination of a dodgy earth strap and a tired battery. Honestly, I took it to a workshop. Saved me loads of hassle in the end.

Appreciate the advice. Turns out the battery was goosed and had a dead cell. New battery and a charging system check, and she's starting like a dream again. Cost me 290€, but worth it for the peace of mind.

Sounds familiar! I’ve got a Peugeot 508. I had a similar issue where it wouldn't start properly. I even had problems with the central locking. Have you checked the fuse box? A blown fuse can cause all sorts of weird electrical problems.
