Thanks! By 'checked ASAP', do you mean just topping it up won't solve it permanently?

Correct. Topping it up might temporarily alleviate the symptoms, but if it's consistently low, you've got a leak somewhere, or it's burning oil. Ignoring it will damage the transmission. It's best to have a workshop diagnose it properly to avoid bigger problems down the road.

Okay, I understand. Thanks for the advice. I'll take it to a workshop. Turns out, it was a faulty sensor and a small leak. Total repair cost was 365€

I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 508. The symptoms you describe sound very familiar. Low transmission oil can definitely cause those problems. Think of it like your engine running low on oil – things start grinding and overheating. I'd top it off and see if it helps, but get it checked ASAP.
