Peugeot 508 transmission stuck in park

Hi, I'm having an issue with my 2019 Peugeot 508 hybrid. It's done 281139 km. The automatic transmission seems to be stuck in park. The engine won't start, the check engine light is on, and the gearbox is slipping. I had it checked and there's an error stored related to the transmission.

Yes, I had the exact same symptoms, including the engine refusing to start. I recommend taking it to a trusted workshop – in my case, the defective control unit had to be replaced. It's a fairly common issue, unfortunately.

Thanks for the information. I took it to the workshop, and it was indeed the control unit. Replacement cost me around 1000€. Hopefully, this fixes the problem for good.
