Peugeot 607 AC compressor shuts off

Hi, I have a 2000 Peugeot 607 with a gasoline engine. My A/C compressor keeps shutting off. The air conditioning system doesn't switch on, so it's not cooling at all. I checked the error memory and there's an error stored. Any ideas what could be the problem? I'm a bit of a novice with this stuff.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 607. Does the problem happen randomly or after a specific amount of time? Maybe check the AC relay switch or for a refrigerant leak. Could also be undervoltage… but hard to say for sure. Have you tried looking at the AC relay?

Thanks for the quick reply! It seems pretty random, I haven't noticed any pattern yet. Where exactly is the AC relay located? And how would I check for undervoltage myself? Is it safe?

Yeah, that makes sense. I appreciate the advice! I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be undervoltage in the vehicle, like you said. They fixed it for 240€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
