Peugeot 607 AC Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Peugeot 607 with a gasoline engine has an AC problem where it no longer cools or switches on. Initial checks of the fuses did not resolve the issue, leading to a suspicion of faulty valves in the AC system. After further investigation and a workshop visit, it was confirmed that the problem was indeed due to faulty valves, which were replaced to restore the AC's functionality.

No weird AC noises, just stopped suddenly. Where is the pressure switch located? Is there a way to test it before replacing?

On my Astra, the pressure switch was near the condenser, but locations vary. Testing it requires AC diagnostics knowledge and tools. Without those, you might just be chasing shadows. Best to visit a workshop.

After digging and a workshop visit, it turned out to be faulty valves in the AC system, as suspected. 1000€ later, the AC is blowing cold again!

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. The AC just quit. It might be the pressure switch, or even the AC relay. Any weird noises before it stopped? Could be a clue. Check those things before going too deep.
