Peugeot 607 AC Problem

My 2005 Peugeot 607 with a gasoline engine has an AC problem. It no longer cools and doesn't seem to switch on. I've checked fuses, but no luck. Suspecting faulty valves in the AC system. Anyone had similar issues?

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. The AC just quit. It might be the pressure switch, or even the AC relay. Any weird noises before it stopped? Could be a clue. Check those things before going too deep.

No weird AC noises, just stopped suddenly. Where is the pressure switch located? Is there a way to test it before replacing?

On my Astra, the pressure switch was near the condenser, but locations vary. Testing it requires AC diagnostics knowledge and tools. Without those, you might just be chasing shadows. Best to visit a workshop.

After digging and a workshop visit, it turned out to be faulty valves in the AC system, as suspected. 1000€ later, the AC is blowing cold again!
