Peugeot 607 Turn Signal Error
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Peugeot 607 owner experienced a turn signal error on the passenger side, indicated by a dashboard message and diagnostic error. The issue was suspected to be a faulty bulb or something more serious. A suggestion was made to check for corroded or damaged cable and plug connections to the turn signal lamp. Upon inspection and cleaning of the connections, the problem was resolved, eliminating the error message.

Corroded connections, huh? Hmmm, didn't think of that! Is it easy to get to those connections on the 607? Do I need any special tools, or is it just a matter of popping off a cover and having a look?

Yes, corroded connections were the issue in my case. It's relatively easy to access. You might need a small screwdriver to remove the cover, but nothing too specialized. If cleaning the connections doesn't solve it, it may be a deeper electrical issue.

Thanks a bunch for the tip! Took it to the workshop and it was indeed a faulty connection, just like you said. They cleaned it up and charged me 95€, so I'm happy to be rid of that annoying error message!

I had a similar issue with my 607. First thing I'd check are the cable and plug connections to the turn signal lamp itself. Are they corroded or damaged? That's a common culprit.
