Peugeot 607 Washer Fluid Error
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot 607 displayed a dashboard warning for low washer fluid despite the reservoir being full, and the windshield washer system was non-functional. Possible causes included using incorrect washer fluid, a faulty sensor, or a broken washer motor. After checking for blocked spray jets and considering the error codes, it was suggested to visit a workshop. The issue was resolved by replacing the broken washer motor.

What do you mean by sensor? Where exactly is it located?

The sensor monitors the fluid level. Usually, it's at the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir. But if the system isn't working at all, and you've checked the jets, it's more likely the motor. Honestly, with those symptoms and error codes, you should take it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly.

Thanks, took your advice and went to the workshop. Turns out the washer motor was broken. Cost me 25€ to replace. All good now.

Hey there. That's a common issue, it seems. First, double-check you're using the right kind of washer fluid, some of them can muck up the sensor. It could also be a faulty sensor giving a false reading, or the washer motor itself might be kaput. Have you checked the spray jets are not blocked? Those can cause problems too.
