Peugeot 806 AC failure
Summary of the thread
The Peugeot 806's air conditioning system stopped working, failing to cool or switch on. Initial checks of the temperature control, AC relay, and pressure switch showed no issues. The problem might be related to the AC valves, as suggested by another owner with a similar experience. A workshop diagnosis is recommended to confirm the cause and address the issue.

Thanks. The fuses seem okay, though. Could the valves really be the problem? What kind of costs should I expect?

In my case, the valves were the reason. The repair cost about 1000€. I'd recommend a workshop for a diagnosis. It's hard to say for sure without looking at it.

Thanks! I'll take it to a workshop ASAP. They also suspect the valves, estimating around 1000€, like you said.

That sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Peugeot 806. Did you check the AC maintenance records? Maybe a fuse blew? It sounds like the same issue.
