Summary of the thread
The Peugeot 806's cruise control was malfunctioning, with the speedometer showing an error and a fault code stored. The initial suspicion was a faulty cable or plug. Suggestions included checking the fuse box and throttle body connections. Ultimately, a workshop confirmed the issue was indeed a cable problem, and it was resolved at the expected cost.

Fuse box looks fine. Where exactly should I be looking at the throttle body? Any specific connections or sensors?

Yeah, those fuse boxes can be deceiving. Usually it's the connection. As for the throttle body, check the electrical connector is seated properly first. Honestly, without proper diagnostics, you're chasing shadows. Best bet is to take it to a workshop. I suspect it will cost around 95€.

Cheers. Workshop confirmed cable issue as suspected. Cost as predicted. Sorted.

Cruise control issues on those old 806s can be a real pain! Have you checked the fuse box? A blown fuse can sometimes cause the cruise control to malfunction. Also, have you had a look at the throttle body? Sometimes a dirty throttle body can mess with the system.
