Yes, a scan tool was employed, revealing a fault code indicative of potentially incorrect vehicle coding. Could you elaborate on whether your experience confirms this as the likely cause, or if other factors were involved?

Yes, in my case the incorrect coding was indeed the cause. It kept throwing up errors. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop; they can recode it correctly. It cost me around 360€ for the repair.

I had something similar with my 806. Did you use a scan tool to read the fault code? It could be a control module problem. Have you tried to check engine codes and reset codes? This might help.
