Peugeot 806 Power Windows Failure

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue on my old Opel Astra. Power window switch defective. You need to check if the motor gets power when you hit the switch. Saved me quite a bit of nerves when I knew what to look for.

Interesting. How did you check the motor? Did you have to take the whole door panel apart?

Yup, door panel had to come off to get to the motor and window mechanism. If you don't have the tools or feel uncomfortable doing it, I'd suggest going to a workshop. Much easier than fiddling with the window track yourself and breaking something.

Thanks. I think I'll take your advice and bring it in. It was the power window switch, just like you said. Cost me 200€ to fix, but at least it's done.
