Peugeot 806 Tire Pressure Warning ABS and Steering Issues

The shaking is most pronounced above 80 km/h. The steering effort seems more random, though maybe more frequent at lower speeds, like when parking. Could a faulty valve really cause all of this?

Consider a valve like a gatekeeper - if it leaks, it can cause havoc. A defective valve can indeed cause inconsistent tire pressure readings, triggering the warning light. The vibration at higher speeds often indicates an imbalance, which a slow leak can worsen. The ABS and power steering issues could arise from the vehicle's sensors reacting to the perceived pressure differences or wheel speed variations. I recommend a visit to a qualified workshop for a thorough inspection. They can check the valves, sensors, and overall system integrity. Ignoring it could lead to further complications.

The front right tire valve was defective, and that was the problem. Replacing it, along with the ABS sensor that had also failed due to the wheel speed variations, cost me 280€. Everything works perfectly now!

The symptoms you describe suggest more than just a simple flat tire. It sounds like one of the tire valves may be defective. Is the shaking consistent, or does it only occur at certain speeds? Does the increase of steering effort correlate with speed, or is it random?
