Peugeot 806 Turn Signal Errors
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Peugeot 806 is experiencing turn signal errors, with messages on the speedometer and a lighting fault. The initial suspicion is a cable or plug issue. After checking the flasher relay and considering the symptoms, a defective cable connection is deemed the most likely cause. A visit to a workshop confirms the issue, and the problem is resolved by fixing the cable connection.

Flasher relay seems fine. Haven't pulled the exact code yet, too busy. But given the symptoms, does a dodgy connection still seem most likely, or am I missing something?

Considering the persistent error message and lighting fault in conjunction with a functional flasher relay, a defective cable or plug connection remains a highly probable cause. However, due to the complexities inherent in modern automotive electrical systems, a comprehensive diagnostic assessment by a qualified technician is strongly advised. A workshop visit would allow for accurate identification and remediation of the fault.

Cheers. Took it to the shop. Cable connection was indeed the culprit, as suspected. 95€ and it's sorted. Thanks for confirming my suspicion.

Regarding your Peugeot 806's turn signal malfunction, have you inspected the flasher relay? Could you elaborate on the specific error code registered in the vehicle's diagnostic memory? This information is crucial for accurate troubleshooting.
