Peugeot 807 AC Problem

Hi, my 2009 Peugeot 807, diesel engine, has an AC problem. It's only done 41736 km. The air conditioning no longer cools, and the system doesn't even seem to switch on. Anyone experienced this?

I had similar AC issues with my 807. It sounds like a potential cooling system malfunction. When you say it doesn't switch on, do you mean you don't hear the compressor engaging? The compressor is a pump, driven by the engine via a belt, that circulates the refrigerant. Also, have you checked for any unusual AC noise or tested the AC relay, which is an electromagnetic switch that controls the power to the AC compressor?

Okay, thanks for the advice. Sounds like a trip to the workshop is in order. It ended up costing me 1000€, but now the AC works again.
