Thanks for the insight. Which connections specifically should I be inspecting beyond the one under the seat? Any particular components more prone to this on the 807?

On my Insignia, it was primarily the seat connector. However, given it's a restraint system, and like a house's electrical wiring, things are interconnected, and without proper equipment you might do more harm than good, I'd suggest professional diagnostics to pinpoint the fault before attempting extensive repairs.

Understood. I appreciate the advice. The local workshop identified a faulty connector, and the airbag repair cost 95€. All sorted now.

I had a similar issue with my 2014 Opel Insignia. The SRS light was on, and it turned out to be a loose connection under the driver's seat. It's like a bad garden hose connection, cutting off the water! Did you check the connections or had any work done recently near the airbags?
