Peugeot 807 cooling grille restricted error

Peugeot 807 (2008, gasoline) reports 'cooling grille restricted' error. The display shows incorrect temperatures, check engine light is on, and the engine takes forever to warm up. I've checked for radiator blockages, but everything looks fine. Could this be a fuse? Any ideas?

Strange! I had a similar issue with my 807... I didn't see any blockages either. Is your engine overheating, or is it just taking a long time to warm up? Did you check the coolant level?

Thanks! The engine doesn't seem to be overheating, but it's struggling to reach temperature, so I think the display is wrong. Coolant level looks normal. What was the cause when you had this?

Right, coolant level normal sounds like my problem. I never figured it out, but the mechanic thought it might be a sensor or something with the grille motor. The ECU showed errors. I'd get it checked at a workshop before it gets worse.
