Steering wheel controls, eh? Is it easy to get to those connections? I'm not exactly a pro mechanic, more of a weekend warrior.

I would recommend that you visit the workshop. Check the connections, but it's best to take it to a mechanic.

I took your advice and brought it in. Turned out to be a faulty connection, just like you thought. Cost me 95€ to get sorted. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. Had the same thing with my old Vauxhall Astra. First thing I'd check are the connections to the steering wheel controls. Check the simple stuff first.
